Anna inspires and motivates people to lose weight, create healthy lifestyles, and enjoy food via cooking demonstrations and healthy eating presentations. She is the author of Delicious Simplicity: Recipes for Today’s Busy Life in addition to hosting a cooking show on public access television. The recipes that Anna creates are a reflection of her living principles to keep it simple, use wholesome ingredients, balance the flavors and make it delicious.
Anna participated in the review of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Hypertension Evidence-Based Nutrition Practice Guideline (2015) and Adult Weight Management Evidence Based Nutrition Practice Guideline (2014).
She also developed a teaching module for the Food and Culinary Practice Group as part of an online Food and Culinary Certificate of Training.
Anna presents her healthy eating programs to corporate and community groups while customizing them to meet client needs. She brings her enthusiasm for healthy eating to children through a Teen Cooking Program for local libraries. Anna has brought a variety of programs to the community.
From 2005 to 2011 Anna held cooking demonstrations at Whole Foods and continues to do so at other venues. She has run a 10-week upbeat weight management program and presents healthy eating related presentations to community groups. Varying topics include but are not limited to lifestyle and eating habits, leafy green cooking demos, and recipes for healthy drinks with unexpected ingredients. Anna teaches nutrition at North Shore Community College in Danvers, MA and leads Food Allergies workshops for John Stalker Institute of Food and Nutrition at Framingham State University.
Anna also develops recipes for her books and for corporations. She has developed recipes for Welch’s Food, which can be found on Welch’s website. Anna’s current recipes in the works include chocolate/balsamic sauce, soybean meatballs, and healthier chicken fingers.
Anna has had articles published in Lynnfield MA's local paper, a monthly Tasty Tips column in Dancing Spoon, and in the Lynnfield Patch.
